Northern Rivers Music Showcase Gig

Arts Northern Rivers presents an evening of sensational sonic delights, showcasing the best the Northern Rivers’ music scene has to offer.  Featuring six acts in one night – the primal world sounds of Yeshe; the intricate and beautiful songs of Susanna Carman; the grit and grind of Dan Hannaford; the pop/roots sensibilities of The Lucky Wonders; the upbeat realism of Mick McHugh; and the boisterous, incendiary funky bluegrass of The Round Mountain Girls.

The gig is being organised by Music Brokers Claire McGarry and Sam Fell, as the finale event in Arts Northern Rivers’ Music Brokership Program, and will also be the official launch of a compilation album, featuring all six artists, as a true representation of what’s happening in your own backyard.

An Arts Northern Rivers initiative supported by Arts NSW, Industry & Investment NSW, Regional Development Australia – Northern Rivers and by the Byron Theatre at the Community Centre.
