Mick McHugh playing Port Fairy Folk Fest 2010

Just announced today!

Mick McHugh Duo will be playing at the 2010 Port Fairy Folk Fest.
The festival is one of Australia's biggest and best reknowned festivals.

Port Fairy is an old sea-side fishing and farming village looking out to the Southern Ocean waves rolling along the south-west coast of the state of Victoria.

THE FESTIVAL

With over 100 acts and more around 500 artists the festival is a vibrant and exciting cultural celebration which magically transforms the fishing village evoking tradition but looking to the future.

22 VENUES
Concerts, dance, workshops, theatre and other performances are presented on five large and five smaller stages in The Arena and at 12 more venues throughout the town.

50 THOUSAND MUTTON BIRDS
But each Labour Day weekend, the village becomes the festival and dances to a different beat over one amazing long weekend when some of the best roots act from around Australia and the world play concerts in a unique and ideal setting. It is no wonder that the artists and the patrons cannot wait to come back.
